What is it?

Agriobs is a multiplatform application to easily process and display satellite imagery for the purpose of extracting value for agricultural purposes.

We aim to create an application that allows the agronomist, farmer or other agri-professional to have the power of a satellite data processing application used by trained GIS professionals tuned to work specifically for the person on the ground making the decisions – without being too hard to use.

All too often we see satellite imagery made available in agriculture providing only an NDVI and no way to do anything else despite all the research and development by the remote sensing commuity. We aim to improve this.

Why do I want it?

You will use Agriobs if you understand the value that satellite imagery can bring to your business and you want the most comprehensive way to extract that value. If you have not yet been convinced of its usefulness, that is ok, it’s up to use to provide examples and solutions to real problems that exist.
