Field boundaries are an important feature of Agriobs and is required to use some but not all features. They dictate what imagery is saved to your device for offline viewing and processing and help you navigate the landsape quickly to your area of interest. Field boundaries are also displayed on your reports and will be used for future analysis and display features.

Currently to setup your field boundaries you are required to export from Agworld as a zip file and import them to Agriobs. This works well if you keep your Agworld fields up to date, you only need to do it in one place then pull across to Agriobs.

Importing field boundaries from more places (such as MyJohnDeere) is planned very soon - as is drawing field boundaries inside Agriobs.

Agriobs does not plan to try take on being the ‘source of truth’ or replicating the re-drawing of field boundaries if it can be avoided.
